The SALT work plan includes ten tasks:
this task aims at introducing the project to stakeholders, sharing their needs and securing active involvement through consultation.
this action concerns all the activities related to collect existing data, execution of monitoring campaigns and implementation of a GIS system.
the integrated model of the river watershed and aquifer will be built and calibrated.
the main objective of this action is to make available meteorological and marine series from 1950 to 2030 through reliable climate evolution simulations and scenarios of the 20th and 21st centuries of the Mediterranean region
with this task all possible actions to prevent and/or retard salt intrusion will be assessed and validated by integrated simulations with the mathematical models
the aim of this action is to develop a spatially-resolved risk assessment procedure, supporting the assessment of actual and future climatic scenarios for the Esino river basin and thus providing a tool which can be used to evaluate the impact of different management options on the quality and quantity of the groundwater.
this action aims at measuring and documenting the effectiveness of the projects actions as compared to the initial situation, and control that the expected project objectives and results are being met.
through set of dissemination actions (website development, publicity materials production, events organisation) the project will lay the basis for future technology transfer and replication to analogous contexts.
the task will facilitate achievement of project expected results and ensure meeting project objectives.
the task aims at ensuring the respect of national legislation and accounting rules and of the LIFE+ Common Provisions.
